With the launch of its brand-new Customer Experience Center in Shanghai, our design mission goes beyond mere spatial planning - to build an immersive narrative stage for the future vision of Smart Integrated Assembly.
Industrial technology moves beyond static display into tangible, immersive and interactive experiences. The space integrates brand innovation, sustainability and advanced technology throughout. Breaking away from conventional one-way exhibitions, it is divided into three core zones to form a complete brand value communication system.
The SIA area is designed as a contrasting experience to the reception space, serving as the first immersive introduction to Atlas Copco’s corporate identity
and focus. Its circular geometry softens the perception of walls, creating a sense
of openness and mental clarity. An interactive element allows visitors to open
a sliding door using an Atlas Copco tool, marking the transition into the main Client Experience Center.
The Client Experience Area features a range of interactive installations, including
a manual station, multi-spindle tire tightening systems, an automatic station, and
a comprehensive solutions display area. This space is defined as an “Experience Center” because it is designed not only to showcase products, but to enable visitors to actively engage with and experience them.
The environment is further supported by essential functional areas such as validation, service, and testing zones, ensuring a complete and credible client journey. In addition, a dedicated live-stream room has been designed to broadcast Atlas Copco’s most innovative solutions to a wider audience.
