The "Dialogs" project is presented as an advanced concept, moving beyond a simple co-working space or office. It aims to foster a new level of human interaction, facilitating the creation of new connections and providing a platform for individuals to present themselves to an audience.
The name "Dialogs" is intentionally chosen from ancient Greek, signifying deep communication, profound mutual understanding, and the strong bonds between people. This foundational meaning is visually reinforced by the project's logo. Influenced by Chinese culture, the logo symbolizes infinity and luck, while also representing the close ties between individuals and a shared focus on a singular goal. The distinct points within the logo are designed to represent people collectively looking towards the central objective. At its very core, the "Dialogs" project is built around a vibrant community and a dedicated event space, which serves as the heart of its operations.
In terms of spatial organization, the project is precisely divided into two equally sized areas. One half is designated as a lounge/working zone, meticulously designed for comfort and interaction. This area is not merely for work but primarily encourages networking and the formation of new relationships. It is visually connected to the event space and benefits from ample natural light streaming through large windows, filling the space with brightness. The other half accommodates a conference/presentation hall, which boasts a capacity of approximately 110 people. This hall is equipped with a large screen for presentations and includes a specialized podcast recording area, complete with a unique podcast wall for video recordings.
The project is thoughtfully situated within a historical building, a former bank communications storage facility dating back to 1931. This building once housed significant valuables for the bank and commerce. The design philosophy embraces and respects this heritage, preserving the original architecture, including its columns and ceilings. This preservation serves to merge the building's historical value with "Dialogs'" core company value: "offline is the new gold." To highlight this, original architectural elements are maintained, sometimes with protective overlays detailing their untouched state.
Design elements throughout the space include arched structures, which serve to visually connect different zones and symbolize the strong, enduring connections forged within the space, reminiscent of the robust underground corridors where gold was once stored. The interior design emphasizes a harmonious color palette and the use of natural materials such as wood and carpet, which contribute to a welcoming and legible aesthetic. Strategic lighting solutions are paramount, serving to unify the space and create accent points on key features. These include "Feature Walls" – accent walls branded with dynamic "Dialogs" patterns visible from primary viewpoints. The reception area features a desk with 3D engraved wooden patterns, and the far end of the premise showcases a wall with accent lighting and varied materials like different wood types and fabrics. Furthermore, each zone is equipped with specialized lighting, ranging from focused to diffused, depending on its function. Workstations benefit from adjustable and dimmable lighting, allowing users to customize their illumination needs.
A distinctive feature of the conference hall is its ability to create unique branded scenarios for various companies. By manipulating light, scent, and sound, the space can be transformed to align with specific corporate identities and requirements. All plants within the space are incorporated not just as decoration but as integral parts of the overall design, complementing the natural materials utilized throughout the project.
